Dr. Tobias Anslinger
Tobias Anslinger advises clients on strategic corporate and financial communications. His focus is
on reputation management, special situations such as M&A transactions, crises, restructuring and
change as well as social media.
Before joining Charles Barker, he worked as a business journalist for ten years and most recently
headed the communications department of a large German business association. In academia he focuses
on strategy, culture, change and M&A and is part-time faculty member of a business school in
Jeannette Bender-Seybold supports clients from the banking, private equity, asset management,
corporate and law firm sectors.
Prior to this, she worked for many years with international clients at the auditing firm Deloitte &
Bender-Seybold gained her first experience in the financial services sector during her employment in
the middle office at
Hans Bielefeld advises clients on strategic corporate and financial communications. His focus is on
the consumer goods
industry, private equity and family businesses. Prior to joining Charles Barker, he worked as a
business journalist for
more than 10 years - most recently as a reporter for Lebensmittel Zeitung. Before starting his
he was managing director and co-founder of podcast radio station detektor.fm. He has long-standing
contacts to key
decision-makers in business as well as to media representatives.
Tobias Eberle advises clients on financial communications, strategic communications and special
situations such as M&A
transactions, crises, restructuring, litigation and corporate control issues. He holds a degree in
business administration and has
extensive capital markets experience, having advised listed companies on their financial calendar
work as well as financial
investors on their investments in listed companies. Prior to joining Charles Barker he worked for
various consulting firms in the
field of investor relations and corporate communications.
Ulrike Fuchs-Häcker is responsible for media monitoring and reporting. She is also in charge of our
office and event management.
Following her training in marketing and communication, she worked as an assistant to the board at a
leading advertising firm
before joining Charles Barker.
Thomas Katzensteiner advises clients in the areas of strategic communication, change & issue
management, transaction and issue
support and litigation PR. Before joining Charles Barker, he worked in business journalism for more
than 13 years. Among others,
he reported for WirtschaftsWoche as a correspondent for the Frankfurt financial center. Most
recently, he worked as an editor for
manager magazin covering banks and large corporations such as Siemens and GE. He has established a
network of long-standing
contacts amongst decision-makers in business and the media.
Kristin Koch is responsible for research, surveys, media analytics and reporting and supports our

Fernanda Mascarello supports clients from the areas of private equity and family offices,

Messe Berlin GmbH. Fernanda
Mascarello is a trained translator and linguist (Technical University Berlin) and speaks several

persons of public interest. He has worked on and led communications for numerous IPOs, capital

Jennifer Schmitt is responsible for Charles Barker's internal accounting. As a trained clerk for
office communication and financial accountant she has extensive experience in HR, payroll and
financial accounting as well as the preparation of annual accounts.
Hans-Jürgen Schneider holds more than 40 years of experience in public relations and strategic
communications consulting and
supports selected corporate and financial clients of Charles Barker. After holding leading positions
in the Hessian Ministry of
Economics and Technology, he was Executive Director at Charles Barker from 1989 to 2001, before
becoming co-founder and Managing
Partner of a leading international communications consultancy.
Jan P. Sefrin
Jan P. Sefrin advises clients in the areas of strategic communication and financial communication
focusing on asset management and
private equity clients as well as family businesses. Before joining Charles Barker, he was
responsible for the development of
trade magazines and events at the specialist publishing house of the F.A.Z. Group. Prior to that, he
was deputy head of corporate
communications at a large public health care institution. Jan holds an MBA from the IUBH School of
Business and Management.
Elke Sirowatka supports clients from the areas of asset management, private equity and corporates in
the context of financial and
capital market communications. Before joining Charles Barker, she worked as a marketing coordinator
for a global company in the
photographic industry and as an assistant at the news desk of local newspaper Frankfurter Rundschau.
Kornelia Spodzieja advises clients on the development and implementation of their communications
strategy, reputation management
and strategic positioning. In addition to her many years of advising financial investors and
family-owned companies, she has
advised over 100 transactions for listed and private companies and provided communications support
for a large number of
restructurings, crisis situations, market launches and management changes. She maintains a large
international network of
long-standing contacts amongst decision-makers in business and the media.
Peter Steiner, CFA
Peter Steiner focuses on advising clients in the areas of reputation management and strategic
positioning as well as on financial
and corporate communications. He holds a degree in business administration and is a chartered
financial analyst. Before joining
Charles Barker, he worked as a capital market analyst for a number of renowned banks and advised for
twelve years both HNWI and
institutional clients worldwide.
Account Executive & Business Development
Sandra Weber supports clients from the private equity, private and listed companies and activist
investors sectors. She holds a
degree in political science, is a certified strategy consultant and a certified project manager.
Before joining Charles Barker,
she worked for an international company with a focus on strategic projects and M&A.
Despite his young years, Otto has more than 20 dog years of experience in the communications sector.
During this time, he has developed a strong leadership talent, enabling him to close landmark
transactions (mostly in the food and body care sectors) on a daily basis. With his unique skills he
plays a decisive role in onboarding new clients and team members of Charles Barker. Otto has a
Master's degree in people's business and is a certified expert for nonverbal communication.
